I simply speak German

That matters more than you’d think. A date like this runs largely on talking, and talking in a language you don’t fully command is tiring at exactly the moment you want to relax. I speak Dutch, German and English. You choose which we use, and you can switch halfway.

For women in North Rhine-Westphalia that’s often not even necessary, because more people there speak Dutch than the Dutch tend to realize. But in Munich, Dresden or Rostock it’s good to know the conversation won’t run aground on words.

How far, and what that means

The border region is close. Aachen, Krefeld, Duisburg and Mönchengladbach are two to two and a half hours from Amsterdam, comparable to the south of Limburg. Cologne and Düsseldorf the same. For those cities a long evening or a night is easily done.

Farther into the country it becomes a journey. Berlin is six hours’ drive, Munich almost seven, Dresden and Leipzig in between. I do that, but then we don’t plan an evening, we plan a stay. Two days, or a weekend. Otherwise I spend more time in the car than with you, and that makes no one happy.

Travel costs depend on the distance and you know them up front, before anything is set. Afterward that amount doesn’t change. Surcharges for the evening, the night, the weekend or public holidays don’t exist with me, and booking as a couple costs nothing extra.

What stays the same

Everything that matters in the Netherlands. I work alone, so from your first message you’re talking with me and I’m also the one who comes. There’s no agency in between, there’s no catalogue, and your name ends up in no system.

We talk first. Sometimes a few messages, sometimes a phone call, now and then a coffee before anything else happens. Only when it feels right for you do we plan something. And during the date you set the pace, even when that changes halfway.

Where we meet

In Germany, almost always a hotel. The country has excellent hotel infrastructure, including in the smaller cities, and no one looks twice at a guest who stays one night. For many women that’s more comfortable than home. No neighbours, no house that has to be tidied first, and a door that locks.

Home is fine too, of course. Then we agree beforehand how I arrive, where I park and what I say if someone asks who I am.

Who I cross the border for

For women who are married and have missed for years what they don’t say aloud. Also for women who have just divorced and wonder whether they’ve lost the knack. You haven’t. For widows, who find that longing and grief don’t rule each other out. Just as much for women who work a lot, travel a lot, and at home have no one who really asks how they’re doing.

Couples just as well. What’s possible is on my services, from touch and skin hunger to tantra or an erotic overnight.

Changing your mind is fine

Halfway through as well, even when everything was already planned and you made a trip for it. That’s not a failure and for me it’s no problem at all.

In practice it regularly happens that a date goes a different way than expected. One time it settles down, another time it doesn’t. I steer toward nothing and I have no stake in what does or doesn’t happen, except that you feel good and look back on it with a pleasant feeling.

If you’re still on the fence

Then sending a message commits you to nothing yet. Many women write to me months before anything gets planned, just to know how it works. Some never come back after that, and that’s fine; others get in touch again half a year later.

There’s no sales pitch behind it. I won’t push, I don’t send reminders and I have no calendar that needs filling. If it isn’t right, it isn’t right.
