City-state on the water
Gigolo in Hamburg
A port city, a merchant city, and one of the few German cities where the weather is as Dutch as it is at home. A good four hours by car.
Water, wind and little fuss
Hamburg is a port city and it’s in everything. Sober, businesslike, not easily impressed. People here mind their own affairs, which for this kind of meeting is especially pleasant. On top of that, people come and go constantly: business traffic, cruise guests, crew. An unfamiliar face in a hotel is the most normal thing in the world here.
And it’s one of the most beautiful cities in Germany if you love water. The Alster in the middle of the city, the Elbe alongside it, the Speicherstadt with those red-brick warehouses where the light does something strange in the evening.
Four hours by car, so not a short evening
From Amsterdam I’m here in about four hours, a bit more by train. That’s too far for a couple of hours and just right for a night or a long weekend. Plan it a few weeks ahead, and I arrive rested and nothing has to be rushed at the end.
Travel cost matches the distance and you hear it beforehand, before anything is fixed. Nothing gets added afterwards, and surcharges for the night, the weekend or a public holiday don’t exist with me.
What we can do together
A walk along the Binnenalster as the light comes up. The Landungsbrücken with the ferries that run as ordinary public transport. The Elbphilharmonie, if only for the plaza and the view. Planten un Blomen for an hour of green in the middle of the city. And in the evening, dinner in Ottensen or Sternschanze, where the choice is good and no one is in a hurry.
Or we skip all of it. A room with a view over water and nothing else is an excellent plan in Hamburg.
In which language
German, English or Dutch. Whatever suits you best, and switching is fine.
Who I come here for
For women who are here for work and notice that a hotel room grows very empty after a while. Also for women who are married and have long missed what they don’t say out loud. For widows, in whom grieving and wanting happen at the same time. Just as much for women who are starting over after a divorce and would rather not try that out on a dating app.
And for couples who want something together. See my services for the forms it can take.
Discretion
I arrive as an ordinary guest. No flowers, no loud greeting, and I don’t walk arm in arm with you through the lobby if you’d rather not. What we agree about how we behave in public, I stick to.
I do this without people around me. There’s no agency between us, there’s no middleman and your name ends up in no system. I discuss you with no one, not now and not later.
How it goes
It starts with a message: where you are, roughly what you’re looking for, which stretch of time you have in mind. Two sentences are enough and there’s no wrong answer.
You don’t have to wait long; a day is usually it. After that we talk on until it fits for you: texting, calling, or first getting to know each other quietly without anything having to come of it. For a meeting at this distance that last one is often a pleasant in-between step.
On the day itself we take our time. First sitting, first talking, and only when you want it does more come. You set the pace, even if that changes halfway through.
What it is not
There’s no organisation behind me: no catalogue, no middleman, no file your name stays in. The same person reads your message and rings the bell later.
And it’s not a performance. Your body doesn’t have to look like anything, your age is no objection, and what you’d like you don’t have to defend here.
An evening or a stay
Four hours one way rarely makes a short evening worth it. A night works better here, and two days better still.
Hamburg lends itself to it too. The Elbe, the Alster, a morning at the fish market that starts at five: there’s enough to fill a second day with, without it feeling forced.
When in doubt about the length: take generous. Going home earlier is always an option, extending the moment it’s just flowing rarely is.
This is how it starts
Send me a message with the stretch of time you have in mind. Want to read first who will be sitting across from you? That story is here.
Wherever you live
Shall we talk first?
Tell me briefly what you have in mind and where you are, and I will see if it fits. No obligations, no hurry, and everything you write stays between us.
