Gigolo in Bremen

A Hanseatic city on the Weser, three hours by car and surprisingly intimate for a city of over half a million.

Small for a city-state

With over half a million residents, Bremen is the smallest of the three German city-states, and you feel it in the atmosphere. The centre is walkable, the pace is lower than in Hamburg, and there’s something old-fashioned and easygoing about the way people here deal with one another.

For a meeting that’s pleasant. A city that doesn’t thunder gives you the room to start calmly, and that’s exactly what most women need.

Three hours, so a long evening or a night

From Amsterdam I drive here in about three hours. By German standards that’s close, and it makes Bremen one of the more reachable big cities across the border. You can keep it to an evening, though a night is the better form.

Travel cost matches the distance and you hear it beforehand, before anything is fixed. Nothing gets added afterwards, and there are no surcharges for the evening, the night, the weekend or public holidays.

What we can do together

The Marktplatz with the Rathaus and the Roland, both on the World Heritage list. The Schnoorviertel, a tangle of tiny little houses where you easily lose an hour. The Böttcherstraße with that strange brick art deco. And the Weser itself, with the Schlachte quay where you sit by the water in the evening.

A little further on lies the Bürgerpark, big enough to genuinely get lost in. A walk there at the start of a meeting does more than an hour facing each other across a little table.

Language

German or English, and Dutch if you find that nicer. In this corner of Germany the Dutch are no rarity, so no one bats an eye.

Who I come here for

For women who are married and can share with no one what they miss. Also for women who, after a divorce, live in a house that has grown too quiet. For widows who feel guilty about wanting something again, which by the way there’s no need for. Just as much for Dutch women who are here for work or family and have their own circle elsewhere.

Couples belong here too. What’s possible is set out under my services, from simply being together to intimate togetherness or a whole night.

Where we meet

Usually in a hotel. Bremen has plenty, from businesslike and anonymous to small and quirky in the old centre. For most women that’s more comfortable than home: neutral ground, no neighbours, no house that has to be tidied first.

It can be at yours too. Then we agree beforehand how I arrive, where I park, and what I say if anyone asks who I am.

What it is not

There’s no organisation behind me: no catalogue of gentlemen, no go-between who relays your wishes, no client file. From the first sentence you’re writing to the person who rings the bell later.

There’s no assessment on the other side. There’s no size you have to fit, no age that’s too late, and no wish you have to answer for.

An evening or a stay

Three hours is manageable, so in Bremen a long evening is perfectly possible. Still, some women go for the night anyway, and the reason has little to do with the drive.

The first hour is an adjustment for almost everyone. If you know you still have to drive afterwards, or that you’re expected home by twelve, that’s in the back of your mind all evening. When that pressure falls away, something opens that otherwise stays shut.

When in doubt: take longer. Stopping earlier is always an option.

Agreements about money

Everything is fixed beforehand: what we do, how long, and what it costs, including the travel cost that comes with this distance. Nothing gets added afterwards and there are no items that only appear at the last minute.

There are no surcharges for the evening, the night, the weekend or public holidays. For two you pay no more than for one. And a deposit I only ask for a longer stay, because I reserve accommodation for that.

Doubts I often hear

“Isn’t it strange to pay for this?” No. You’re paying for the time and attention of someone who takes this work seriously. How you fill those hours is up to you.

“Aren’t I too old for this?” No, and I get that question from women of thirty as often as from women of seventy. The youngest is in her early twenties, the oldest well into her seventies, and in between the weight sits above fifty.

“What if I freeze up?” Then we talk for an evening, and that will have been a good evening.

This is how it starts

Send me a message with where you are and when you could. For Bremen a long evening is doable, so feel free to name a weekday.

Wherever you live

Shall we talk first?

Tell me briefly what you have in mind and where you are, and I will see if it fits. No obligations, no hurry, and everything you write stays between us.
