The deep south
Gigolo in Bavaria
Munich, Nuremberg and Augsburg. Seven hours by car, so no one comes here for a single evening. A weekend works better.
The furthest away, and that calls for a plan
Munich is almost seven hours from Amsterdam, Nuremberg a bit over six, Augsburg in between. Of every place on this site, Bavaria is the biggest undertaking. That doesn’t mean it can’t happen, but it does mean we plan it seriously: at least one night, and preferably two days or a weekend.
What you get back for that is time without an edge. No last train, no morning that starts, no acquaintance you run into. In my experience these are the bookings women live off the longest.
Three cities
Munich is the most expensive and the most beautiful: the Isar running straight through the city, the Englischer Garten where surfers ride a standing wave, and a centre that, against all odds, still looks the way it was meant to. Nuremberg feels older, with the castle above the city and a past that hangs heavy over it. Augsburg is the smallest and the most relaxed, with a Renaissance water management system that is on the World Heritage list.
If you’re thinking about a weekend: the Alps are an hour from Munich, Franconian Switzerland half an hour from Nuremberg. Both are lovely places to disappear into together.
Language
German, English or Dutch. The Bavarian dialect is hard for outsiders to follow, but in a conversation with me that is no problem at all: we simply speak standard German, English or Dutch.
Practical
Six to almost seven hours by car, depending on the city. You hear the travel cost before any date is set, and nothing gets added on afterwards.
I don’t work with surcharges, not for the night, the weekend or a public holiday, and booking as a couple costs the same as on your own. Plan well ahead: a month is no exaggeration for Bavaria, and around Oktoberfest or the Christmas markets the whole region is full.
Who I come here for
For Dutch women who live or work here, often for a job at one of the big companies, and notice how far their own circle has drifted. Also for women who are married and have missed for years what they don’t say out loud. For women who have become widows. Just as much for women who plan a weekend for themselves after a divorce and don’t want to be alone.
Couples belong here too. Everything that’s possible is set out under my services.
Discretion
In Munich and Nuremberg no one stands out. In the Bavarian and Franconian villages it’s a completely different story: there, people keep track of who comes and goes.
I take that into account. The car stands where you want it, even if that’s at the edge of the village. No flowers, no conspicuous arrival, and a story ready in case anyone asks who I am.
What you can expect from me
On time, well groomed, and with nothing else on the agenda those days. At this distance it can’t be any other way.
I listen without steering anywhere, and there’s very little I haven’t heard before. Your limit stays your limit, even the moment you stretch it yourself. I talk to no one about you.
Discretion in practice
I work alone: no agency, no middleman, no colleague reading along, no file your name ends up in. Messages disappear the moment they’re no longer needed.
At a hotel I come in as an ordinary guest. If you run into someone you know, I’m whoever you say I am at that moment. Decide that beforehand, and you won’t have to improvise on the spot.
How a first meeting goes
First a few messages back and forth. I want to know a few things, you want to know a few things, and somewhere in that exchange it falls into place on its own. A call works too.
We keep the first few hours open, without a plan. For almost everyone that takes longer than expected, and on a two-day stay there’s all the room for it.
After that it stays quiet on my end. No message the next morning, no reminder months later.
This is how it starts
Get in touch with where you live and a stretch of time that suits you. For Bavaria I’m happy to help think through the place and the length.
