Gigolo in Overijssel

Two regions in one province

Overijssel is really made up of two worlds. On the west side the Hanseatic cities on the IJssel: Zwolle, Kampen, Deventer, with old town centres where water is always round the corner. On the east side Twente: Enschede, Hengelo, Almelo, with a landscape of hedgerows, wooded banks and villages where time runs slower.

For you the main thing that changes is where we meet. In Zwolle or Deventer you walk into a hotel without anyone looking up. In a Twente village an unfamiliar car stands out at once, and I take that into account.

The places I come to

Enschede, Zwolle and Deventer each have their own page; you find those below. Besides those I come to Kampen, Hengelo, Almelo, Steenwijk, Ommen, Oldenzaal and the villages in between. For those places I have no separate page, because I would rather write one good story than the same thing ten times with a different town name.

From Amsterdam Zwolle is about an hour and a half, Twente two hours. That is doable, but plan a little ahead if you can, and consider a longer evening or a night over, because then the travel time falls away against the time we have together.

What we can do together

The Weerribben-Wieden, the largest lowland peat marsh in Europe, where you can glide through by whisper boat without meeting a single person. The Sallandse Heuvelrug near Holten. The IJssel at Deventer, with that view of the quay that has looked the same for centuries. The Vecht near Ommen. And in Twente the country estates around Delden and Enschede.

In the cities: dinner in Zwolle or Deventer, where the range is surprisingly good. Or simply a walk, because those old centres are handsome enough for it.

And it is not required. If you would rather sit somewhere quiet straight away, that is just as good an evening.

Who I come to Overijssel for

For women who are married and have not been touched the way they would want in years, with no argument and no one at fault. Also for women who kept living in the same village after a divorce, with all the looks that come with it. For widows, startled by what their body wants again. For women in a tight community where this can be discussed with no one.

Discretion in the countryside

The smaller the place, the more carefully I do it. I park where you want, even if that is by the sports hall or the shopping centre further along and I walk the last stretch. No flowers, and no greeting on the doorstep that half the street can make something of. If someone asks who I am, I stick to the story you came up with.

I work alone: there is no agency in between and no go-between, and your name ends up in no records anywhere.

Practical

Travel costs match the distance and you know them beforehand, before anything is fixed. That amount stands, afterwards too. What you can expect from me

I come at the agreed time, and well turned out. Most of this work is in listening, not in directing. Nothing throws me, whatever you tell me or ask. You keep hold of the pace, even when you change your mind. Changing your mind is no problem and certainly no failure. There is no one who hears this from me, not now and not later.

The day itself begins with nothing special. Sitting, coffee, talking. The rest follows your pace. After that it stays quiet on my side, unless you get in touch.
