What is mummification?
What is mummification in BDSM? How full surrender, trust, and being wrapped completely still turn into deep, intense arousal.

Bondage means being tied or held in place, with rope, with soft cuffs, sometimes with a blindfold added. For one woman it is about tension, the feeling that you cannot get away, which makes every touch land harder. For another it is about something completely different. Calm. The calm that arrives on its own the moment you no longer have to steer anything and hand it all to someone you trust.
That surprises almost everyone who tries it for the first time. You would expect lying there tied up to make you restless. Usually the opposite happens. The moment you notice you really cannot steer anything, something drops away. The to-do list. The constant negotiating in your head about what you should decide next. All that is left is to feel what happens and trust the hands tying the knots.
By Victor, gigolo in Amsterdam.
Why does this work so well? Part of it sits purely in the senses. A rope pulling tight along your skin feels different from a hand, more direct maybe, harder to dodge. Add a blindfold and every next touch arrives unannounced, and because it is unannounced it lands harder. There is also something in the surrender itself that stays with you. Handing your freedom of movement to someone is a big gesture, and both sides of the rope feel it. Whoever does the tying carries responsibility in that moment too, and exactly that mix of vulnerability and care is why bondage stirs up so much.
There is one more reason I hear often from women who try it. Tied up, you do not have to actively take part in anything for a while. No performing, no worrying about how you come across. You are simply there, and nothing more. That is what makes it easier to let go, because you know you will be untied the moment you want. The safety is not in the rope. It sits in the agreement around it.
So how do you begin, if you have never done it? Small. Think soft Velcro cuffs around your wrists, or just a scarf holding your hands together. Agree on a safeword beforehand, even if that feels over the top for something so small. And choose someone who checks in with you the whole time. How does this feel, should anything be looser, do you want to go further or is this exactly enough for today. That conversation, before and during, matters just as much as the rope itself.
Want to know how it works without having to decide anything right away? Just send me a message on WhatsApp, no pressure and no strings, and I will text you back when it suits you. Together we look at what fits you, from a careful first introduction to rope all the way to a full bdsm date. And if you already know you want to try, you can book me as your gigolo and we plan a moment when you feel safe enough to let go.
