Where the word comes from
The word is young and playfully formed: cuck from cuckold, stuck onto cupcake. The encyclopedia places the role in the lineup: in cuckqueaning the man is called the hothusband and the other woman the cuckcake. The language runs exactly parallel to the male side, where the third man is called a bull.
