Ball crusher

A tool where nothing happens on its own. Every millimeter is a decision by the person turning the screw.

What is a ball crusher?

A ball crusher is a clamp made of two plates that get turned toward each other with screws or nuts, squeezing the scrotum in between. The tool belongs to CBT. Unlike ballbusting, the load comes not from a strike but from pressure that gets raised step by step.

English termIdentical. The encyclopedia describes it as a device that slowly compresses the testicles by tightening sets of nuts or screws.
Also known asball press; part of the family with the humbler and the parachute
Materialusually stainless steel or acrylic, with wing nuts
Why this toolit makes the build-up measurable, since each turn of the screw is a fixed step
Main riskpressure you don’t feel rising, because it doesn’t ease off on its own

Why a screw and not a hand

The difference with ballbusting sits in time. A strike is over the moment it lands; pressure stays until someone takes it away. For some that makes a ball crusher more appealing, because the build-up is slow and controllable, and at the same time more treacherous, because there is no natural end point.

The description sums up how it works in plain terms: the device slowly compresses the testicles as you tighten screws or nuts. Related tools work in other ways, like the humbler that clamps around the base of the scrotum and the parachute that has weights hung from it.

What to watch for

Sustained pressure is a different medical story than a strike. Wang and colleagues describe in International Urology and Nephrology what goes wrong with blunt scrotal injury: a rupture of the tunica albuginea where tissue bulges out, diagnosed with ultrasound and repaired with surgery. The encyclopedia also names torsion and avulsion as emergency injuries in CBT.

In practice that means a clock within reach, an agreed maximum counted in screw turns rather than in feeling, and off right away at nausea, discoloration, or numbness. With this tool the danger is not the peak but the duration.

What I see in it myself

This is a tool I work with slowly, because the pressure does not go away by itself. A strike is done the instant it falls. A screw stays put until someone turns it back, and that is the treacherous part: you get used to the pressure and miss that it has been on too long.

So here I would rather count than go by feel. An agreed number of screw turns, a clock beside it, and loosen right away at nausea, discoloration, or a numb feeling. And the question that has to be on the table first: what do we do if it goes wrong. Without that answer I will not start on it during a BDSM date.

  • Ballbusting. The same spot, but loaded with a strike instead of with sustained pressure.
  • CBT and humbler. The practice and the tool that forces a posture instead of pressure.
  • Parachute and alligator clamp. The other close neighbors: the first hangs weight instead of pressing, the second does the same with a spring.
