Villages on the Meuse

Gigolo in Land van Cuijk

Thirty-four villages along the Meuse, between Nijmegen and Venlo. Rural, close-knit and quiet.

A municipality made of villages

Land van Cuijk came out of the 2022 merger of five municipalities and consists of thirty-four villages. Cuijk, Boxmeer, Grave, Mill, Sint Anthonis and a long run of smaller ones. Together just over ninety-three thousand residents, spread across a large rural area along the Meuse.

So there is no city. That shapes how you go about a date here.

Discretion is the starting point here

In a village of two thousand people, everyone knows who has visitors and which car does not belong. So for the women who write to me from this part of the country, the first question is rarely about what I do.

I park where you want, even if that is at the edge of the village and I walk the last stretch. No flowers, no loud greeting on the pavement, no ringing again if you do not answer for a moment. And if someone asks who I am, I stick exactly to the story you came up with. Think it up beforehand and you will not have to improvise on the spot.

The simplest route is often a date outside the municipality. Nijmegen is half an hour away, Den Bosch three quarters of an hour, Venlo forty minutes. Nobody there knows you.

What we can do together

The Meuse dike, where you walk for miles with floodplains on one side and fields on the other. Grave, a little fortified town on the water. The Maasheggen near Boxmeer, a centuries-old hedge landscape on the Unesco list. And the Sint-Jansberg and the Maasduinen just across the border into Limburg.

For a walk before the evening begins this area is excellent. Few people, plenty of room, and a conversation that gets going on its own.

Who I come here for

For women who are married and have not been touched the way they would want in years, with no argument and nobody to blame. For women who stayed in the same village after a divorce. Widows, in whom the loss and the wanting sit side by side. And for women who live in a churchgoing or close-knit community where this can be discussed with nobody.

And for couples. The services page tells you what is possible together.

How a first date goes

First messages go back and forth. I ask a few things, you ask a few things, and somewhere in there you know whether this fits. The phone works too. And if you want a coffee first in Nijmegen or Venlo, far enough from your own village, then that is the plan.

On the day itself nothing goes briskly. Sitting, talking, and only when you are ready does the rest follow. For almost everyone that first part runs over, and that is not wasted time.

After that you hear nothing more from me, unless you want otherwise.

Agreements about money

Before there is a date you know the whole amount. What we do, how long, and the travel costs for the drive along the Meuse. Nothing gets added later. No evening, night, weekend or public-holiday rate, and booking as a couple does not change the price.

What it is not

No agency, no catalogue, no go-between. Your first message reaches me, I answer myself, and I am also the one who comes. Nothing gets ticked off in advance and I do not work from a script.

It is not a performance. No looking like someone from the internet, nothing to prove, and no apologising for anything.

The first time

Almost everyone is nervous the first time, and that is how it should be. What takes the tension away is knowing what is coming, so we go through it fully beforehand. Where we meet, what time, how I come in, and what does and does not happen.

And nothing has to happen. A first date of talking and an embrace is a full date. For many women that is enough, and only a second time does it go further.

What you can expect from me

On time, well-groomed, and without rush. Listening without steering you anywhere is the biggest part of this work, and I do not startle at what you tell me or ask.

A limit you set I keep to, even when you stretch it yourself in the moment. You set the pace. And I talk about you with nobody, not with friends, not with others, never.

This is how it starts

A short message with your town and a suitable day is enough. From Amsterdam it is about an hour and a half, so plan it a little ahead.

Wherever you live

Shall we talk first?

Tell me briefly what you have in mind and where you are, and I will see if it fits. No obligations, no hurry, and everything you write stays between us.
