The Ruhr
Gigolo in Gelsenkirchen
A mining past, a famous football club, and people who make little fuss. Exactly what you want when you would rather not stand out.
Little fuss
Gelsenkirchen is not a city that pretends to be prettier than it is. The mining past is still in it, money was never plentiful here, and people are direct without being unkind. For a first conversation that is pleasant, because there is little beating around the bush.
From Amsterdam I drive here in about three hours. A long evening is easy to manage, and a night gives you more.
What we can do together
The Nordsternpark, laid out on a former mine, with a viewpoint on top of the winding tower. The Zoom Erlebniswelt, one of the better zoos in Germany. The Wissenschaftspark with that long glass front on the water. And the Rhein-Herne-Kanal, where you can cycle or walk for miles.
If you would rather do none of this, we simply start indoors. That makes just as good an evening.
Language
German, English or Dutch. Switch halfway if you like, I barely notice.
Who I come here for
For married women who have not been touched the way they would want for years, without any quarrel over it. Also for women who stayed on the same street after a divorce. For widows, in whom grief and longing sit side by side. Just as much for women who work in care or on shifts and rarely have time for themselves.
Couples too. What is possible then is set out under my services.
Where we meet
A hotel is usually easiest here. In Gelsenkirchen itself, or just outside it in Essen or Bochum. Anyone who would rather not meet in their own town is within a quarter of an hour somewhere nobody knows them, and that saves a lot of worrying beforehand.
If you would rather be at home, that works too. We settle in advance how I arrive, where the car stays, and what story is ready should a neighbor ask.
Practical
What the trip costs you hear before there is a date. That amount is final. Nothing is added afterward and there are no items that only become visible at the last minute, not even if the evening runs longer than we had planned. A Friday night costs the same as a Tuesday afternoon. Booking as a couple does not make the bill higher.
Plan a week or two ahead. Around a home game at Schalke the city fills up, so we pick another date then.
How it goes
It starts with a message. Where you are, roughly what you are looking for, when you could. Two sentences are enough and there is no wrong answer. I usually write back within a day.
After that it goes back and forth. I ask something, you ask something, and somewhere in that conversation you know whether it feels right without anyone having to name it. If you would rather call, we call. If you would first like to have coffee once without anything else happening that day, that is the arrangement.
On the day itself we start slowly. First sit, first talk, and only when you are ready does the rest come. For most women that first part takes longer than they had expected. No time lost, because after that it comes on its own. And once you are home again it stays quiet. No text to ask how it was, no message half a year later.
Discretion in practice
I work on my own. No agency, no middleman, no colleagues, and nowhere a file or record with your name in it. I keep messages no longer than they are needed.
I arrive as inconspicuously as possible. No flowers, no greeting that makes the street turn its head, and the car goes where you want it. If you run into someone you know, I am whoever you say I am. Think that story up in advance, so you do not have to invent something on the spot.
Changing your mind is allowed
At any moment. Even once we are already sitting there, even if you have looked forward to it for weeks. That is not a failure and it costs you no explanation.
Dates often run differently than expected anyway. Sometimes it becomes calmer than planned, sometimes it does not. I steer nowhere and have no stake in a particular outcome, other than that you feel good and look back on it without regret.
If this is new to you
Many women who write to me have never done anything like this and assume they are the only one. They are far from it. They are nurses, cashiers, teachers, women who run their own business. People with an ordinary life and an ordinary schedule.
It helps to know that this is entirely legal here, that no one is watching, and that at no point do you have to do anything. A first time that consists of talking and an embrace is not half a date. For some of these women that is exactly enough.
This is how it starts
Send a message with your town and a day that suits you. The rest we work out together.
Wherever you live
Shall we talk first?
Tell me briefly what you have in mind and where you are, and I will see if it fits. No obligations, no hurry, and everything you write stays between us.
