Money slave
Why the handing over itself is the kick, and what the word slave refers to.
What is a money slave?
A money slave is the paying, submissive role within findom: someone, usually a man, who draws sexual arousal and surrender from handing money or gifts to a dominant receiver. The word slave here points to the lived servitude, not to ownership or coercion.
| In Dutch | geldslaaf |
| Category | the giving role within findom, financial domination |
| Also known as | paypig, finsub, cash piggy, human ATM, cash slave |
| Across from | the receiving role: cashmaster or cashmistress |
| Who | can be any gender, in practice nearly always a man |
| Core | the arousal is in the handing over itself, not in what you get back for it |
How the role works
A money slave draws the kick from the handing over, not from anything given in return. The submission becomes visible in money: a transfer, a gift from a wishlist, a payment at an agreed moment. According to researchers Rosey McCracken and Belinda Brooks-Gordon, demeaning titles for the submissive side, such as money slave and money pig, actually strengthen the social control through their aura of emasculation and servitude. So the word does work: the label makes the role felt.
Why people look for this
The kick is in surrender with no detour. Money is, for most people, an area of control, and handing exactly that out of your hands makes the surrender concrete. For the giving side the arousal is the letting go; for the receiving side the power is in the taking. The encyclopedia notes that the receiving party is usually a woman and the giving one nearly always a man.
A dynamic that turns on money can also derail into real harm. An agreed amount and a limit up front are no spoilsport here, but the condition for keeping it play.
