Wadden island
Gigolo on Texel
Dunes, beach and a ferry that lifts you off the mainland for a while. On Texel I would rather plan a night than an evening. It suits the place better.
An island asks for more time
Texel is not an evening out. The ferry takes twenty minutes, but the whole trip there costs me a good two hours from Amsterdam, and then I still have to get back. So here I prefer to plan an overnight stay, or at least a long afternoon that runs on into the evening.
That is not a drawback but an advantage. On an island, time settles. There is no last train to watch for, no neighbor who sees the light on, no schedule that starts pulling at eight o’clock. That is exactly why the finest dates work so well here.
What we can do together
The Slufter, where at high water the sea runs in among the dunes. The beach at paal 9 when no one is there. The lighthouse at De Cocksdorp with a wind that almost knocks you over. The woods at De Dennen, where suddenly there is no wind at all. And in the evening, eating somewhere in Den Burg or Oudeschild, with fish brought in the same day.
Or none of that. Renting a cottage, keeping the curtains drawn and letting the world wait for a while is perhaps the best version on Texel. Especially if you are looking for something that needs more time, like an erotic overnight stay or intimate time together with no clock.
Discretion on a small island
Texel is small, and in the low season everyone knows everyone. In the high season you walk among thousands of tourists and no one stands out. That difference is large and it is worth keeping in mind when you choose your moment.
I arrive like an ordinary guest. I take my own room if you find that more comfortable, I do not walk arm in arm with you through Den Burg if you would rather I did not, and I tell no one anything. Whatever we agree about how we behave in public, I keep to it strictly.
Who I come to Texel for
For women who want to really get away for once. Out of their house, out of their role, out of the rhythm that has been the same for years. For couples who want to experience something together in a place where no one knows them. And for women who, after a loss or a divorce, plan a few days for themselves and do not want to be alone.
What happens you decide yourself, along the way too. On my services is what you can choose from, but none of it is a program that has to be worked through.
Where you can stay
Texel has everything: hotels in Den Burg and De Koog, small bed-and-breakfasts, and holiday cottages in the dunes where you meet no one. For a date like this, a cottage is usually nicer than a hotel. You have your own door, your own kitchen, and you never have to pass a front desk.
If you book in the high season, you have to be early. Off season there is plenty of choice, and the island is at its finest besides: empty beach, hard wind and cafes where you linger for hours.
Practical
For Texel there are travel costs that fit the distance plus the crossing, and you know them in advance. Plan this well ahead, certainly in the high season, when accommodation on the island is scarce. There are no surcharges for night, weekend or holiday, and booking as a couple costs no extra.
What such a stay looks like
Usually it starts with an afternoon. Arriving, setting down your things, taking a walk and only then eating. That order works better than sitting down to a table straight away, because walking takes the nerves out of your legs and talking comes more easily on its own when you are side by side.
In the evening there is no program. Sometimes it goes quiet early, sometimes we are still talking at two in the morning. And the morning after is perhaps the finest part: breakfast with no hurry, one more walk on the beach, and leaving only when it is really time.
What happens in between you decide yourself, moment by moment. Even if you said something yesterday and want something else today.
What you can expect from me
I am there when I say I am there, and tidy. Beyond that I listen, and I steer at nothing. Nothing you tell me or ask throws me. How fast or slow it goes, you decide, from beginning to end. Changing course is no trouble at all. Your name reaches no one, not now and not later.
How it starts
Send me a message with what you have in mind and which period you would like. For an overnight stay I am glad to think along about the place, because that makes a lot of difference here.
Get in touch and we will lay it out calmly.
Wherever you live
Shall we talk first?
Tell me briefly what you have in mind and where you are, and I will see if it fits. No obligations, no hurry, and everything you write stays between us.
