Youngest city in the Netherlands
Gigolo in the city of Groningen
A quarter of the residents are students, the centre is low-traffic, and nobody notices who is walking with whom.
Young, compact and anonymous
Groningen has a good two hundred and forty thousand residents, a quarter of them students. That makes the city livelier than any other place above the rivers: cafés open late on weekdays, terraces that fill the moment the sun is out, and a centre where you never stand out.
For a date, that anonymity is the biggest advantage. In a Groningen village people notice who comes and goes; in the city nobody looks up at two people walking in somewhere together.
What we can do together
The Grote Markt with the Martini tower above it, and the stairs to the gallery if you dare. The Groninger Museum, which sits in the water and still looks as if it was just set down. The Vismarkt and the Folkingestraat for food that doesn’t have to be expensive to be good. The Noorderplantsoen, where half the city lies out the moment it can.
Just outside the city: the Reitdiep, the Paterswoldsemeer, and the mound villages of Het Hogeland half an hour away.
Who I come here for
For women in a marriage where touch has become habit instead of attention over the years. For women starting over after a divorce who wonder whether they’ve lost the knack, which you don’t have. For widows, in whom grief and longing get in each other’s way. Just as much for PhD candidates and teachers who have everything under control except this.
For couples too. From touch and skin hunger to an erotic overnight: it’s all under my services.
Where we meet
Plenty of hotels, in the centre and on the edge of the city. For most women that’s more comfortable than home: neutral ground, no neighbours, and no house that has to be tidied first. In a student building with thin walls that goes double.
Home is possible too, of course. Then we settle beforehand what time I arrive, where the car stays, and what I say if a housemate or neighbour asks.
Live in one of the villages around the city? Then meeting in the city itself is often the wiser choice. It saves you all the looks.
An evening or a night
From Amsterdam it’s two and a half hours’ drive. An evening can work, but a date that runs on into the morning works better here: then the travel time falls away against the time we have together. The first hours are a matter of settling in for almost everyone, and you don’t want to rush those because a return trip is waiting.
How a first date goes
First we write. I ask a few things, you ask a few things, and in that conversation you notice for yourself whether this fits. A phone call is fine too. And if you’d rather have coffee at the Noorderplantsoen first with nothing else happening, then we do that.
On the day itself we take our time. We start with sitting and talking; what comes after comes when you’re ready for it. And after that it’s quiet, unless you get in touch.
What we agree about money
Everything is set beforehand: what we do, how long, and what it costs, including the travel that comes with this distance. Nothing surprises you afterward. There are no surcharges for the evening, the night, the weekend or public holidays, and booking as a couple costs no extra.
The first time
Almost everyone is nervous the first time. That’s how it should be, and it settles on its own. What helps most is knowing exactly what’s going to happen, so we go through it beforehand: the place, the time, how I come in, and what does and doesn’t happen.
And nothing has to. Talking and an embrace can make a complete evening together. For some women the first time stays at that, and it only goes further afterward.
What you can expect from me
I’m there on time, well turned out and without hurry. Listening without steering anywhere is by far the largest part of this work. Whatever you tell me, it doesn’t throw me.
A limit you name is a limit, even when you stretch it yourself. The pace is yours. And I talk about you with no one, not with friends, not with others, never.
This is how it starts
Let me know: your town, and when it would suit you. Two sentences are enough, and I usually answer within a day.
Wherever you live
Shall we talk first?
Tell me briefly what you have in mind and where you are, and I will see if it fits. No obligations, no hurry, and everything you write stays between us.
