University town
Gigolo in Halle (Saale)
An old university, plenty of students and Leipzig half an hour away. Livelier than most cities this size.
Small, old and young at once
Halle has a university dating from 1502 and a population of which a large share are students. That makes the city livelier than you’d expect at two hundred and forty thousand residents, with cafés that open late and a centre that largely survived the war.
Leipzig is half an hour away, which is handy: if you live in one city and would rather meet in the other, you’re there in no time.
What we can do together
The Marktplatz with the five towers that give the city its nickname. The Händel-Haus, because Handel was born here. The Saale with the Peißnitzinsel, an island in the river where you can walk for hours. And the Halloren chocolate factory if you want something light.
A little further on lies the Saale-Unstrut area, one of the northernmost wine regions in Europe, with terraces and castles along the river.
Language
German, English or Dutch. In the student town English works everywhere.
Who I come here for
For women who are married and have long waited for a touch with attention in it. For women who are starting over after a divorce without a manual.
Widows, in whom the body is already further along than the mind. And in Halle a lot of students and PhD candidates: a university dating from 1502 makes for a city full of women who are masters of their field and have no routine in this at all.
Together is possible too. See my services.
Practical
From Amsterdam it’s a good five hours. Travel costs match that distance and you know them beforehand, before anything is fixed. Nothing gets billed after the fact. No surcharges for the evening, the night, the weekend or a public holiday, and booking as a pair costs nothing extra.
This is a stay and not an evening, so plan it well ahead.
Where we meet
Usually a hotel, in Halle itself or in Leipzig round the corner. If you’d rather not meet in your own city, the advantage here is that the neighbouring one is big and completely anonymous.
Home works just as well. Then we agree beforehand how I arrive and where I park. In a student building with thin walls a hotel is usually more comfortable.
Changing your mind is allowed
Even in the middle of the date, no matter how much you arranged for it. That’s no failure, and it causes me no trouble at all.
What you plan beforehand often doesn’t happen that way. Whichever way it goes makes no difference to me, as long as you look back on it with a good feeling.
If you’re still on the fence
You’re tied to nothing when you email me. Some women email me with one question about how it works and leave it there. And some only get back in touch much later.
No pushing, no reminder, no calendar that has to be full.
What it isn’t
There’s no company behind me. No pick list, no middleman, no card index of names. The person on the other end of your first message is the same one who comes later.
It’s no exam. No one here holds a bar against your body or your years, and you have nothing to explain away.
The first time
The first time is nerve-racking for just about everyone. What helps most is knowing what’s going to happen: where, what time, how I arrive, and what doesn’t happen.
Beyond that, nothing is required. A first time that consists of a conversation and an embrace is no half a date.
What women often say afterward
The first remark is almost never about sex. What recurs more often is the calm: that no one watched a clock and that nothing was rushed through.
And after that the sigh that it took months before that first message was sent.
This is how it starts
Write to me where you are and which week or weekend you’re thinking of. If you’d rather meet in Leipzig than in Halle, just say so.
Wherever you live
Shall we talk first?
Tell me briefly what you have in mind and where you are, and I will see if it fits. No obligations, no hurry, and everything you write stays between us.
