On the Rhine
Gigolo in Cologne
More than a million residents, a cathedral you can see from the motorway, and an attitude to life that resembles Dutch level-headedness.
Three hours, and you are in a city of a million
Cologne is about three hours’ drive from Amsterdam. That makes it one of the most reachable big cities across the border, and the first I mention when someone asks whether Germany is doable at all. A long evening works, a night works better.
What also makes the city pleasant is the mentality. People from Cologne are talkative, not easily shocked and go to bed fairly late. There is more room here for people who do something that would raise questions elsewhere.
What we can do together
The cathedral, which despite all the photos still leaves you silent when you stand in front of it. The Rhine embankment with the boats and the bridges. The Belgisches Viertel for food and drink that is not touristy. The Museum Ludwig, if you want to see something that starts a conversation on its own. And the Rheinauhafen with those three crane houses, lovely in the evening light.
If you would rather have none of this, that is entirely fine. A room with the curtains closed is just as much an evening in Cologne.
Language
German, English or Dutch. In this corner of Germany a fair number of people speak Dutch, and I do in any case. You choose, and switching halfway is fine.
Who I come here for
For married women who have not felt a hand rest on their back with attention for years. Also for women who have just divorced and wonder whether they have lost the knack, which you do not. For widows, in whom the loss and the wanting sit side by side. Just as much for Dutch women who work here and have their own circle on the other side of the border.
And for couples who want to try something together, from touch and skin hunger to an erotic overnight stay. The full overview is under my services.
Where we meet
Usually in a hotel. Cologne has hundreds, from businesslike near the Messe to small and quirky in the Altstadt, and a guest who stays one night is completely unremarkable here. For most women that is more comfortable than home. Neutral ground, no neighbors, no house that has to be tidied first.
Home works just as well. We then arrange in advance what time I arrive, where I park, and what I answer if someone asks who I am.
Agreements about money
Everything is settled before you commit to anything: what we do, how long we have, what it costs, including the travel costs that come with a three-hour drive. That amount is the final amount. Nothing turns up at the last minute and nothing is added up afterward.
Surcharges do not exist with me. Not for the evening, the night, the weekend or a public holiday. If the two of you book, the price does not change. Only for a stay of several days do I ask for a deposit, because I book accommodation for that.
Plan a week or two ahead. During carnival week the whole city is taken, so better not then.
How it goes
You send a message with where you are, roughly what you are looking for and when you could. Two sentences suffice. I usually answer within a day.
After that we talk on until it feels right for you: texting, calling, or first getting to know each other calmly without anything having to come of it. On the day itself we start slowly. We sit, we talk, and only when you are ready does the rest come, which for most women means the first hour goes entirely to settling in and only after that does something shift. Does the pace change halfway? Then that is the pace.
An evening or a stay
Six hours of driving for three hours together is a lopsided ratio. If it runs on into the next morning, or we make two days of it, that travel time falls away against what is left.
In Cologne there is something extra. It is a city where people go to bed late. An evening here rarely ends at eleven, and you notice that in how a date unfolds. There is room to sit somewhere, walk on again, and head back only when you feel like it instead of when the clock says so.
If you are unsure about the length, choose the more generous option. Making it shorter is always possible. Asking for extra time at the moment it feels just right usually is not.
Doubts I often hear
“I’ll turn out to be a disappointment.” That is the line that comes up most often, and it holds true for no one. I do not come to check whether you meet some standard. I come for the woman who opens the door, in the body she is in that evening.
“Am I not too old for this?” No. Women in their thirties ask that as often as women in their seventies. The ages run from the early twenties to well into the seventies, and above fifty is the largest group.
“Is this actually legal?” Yes. In Germany paid companionship is a regulated profession. You are doing nothing you have to answer for.
This is how it starts
A message with your town and a time frame is enough to begin. Want to read first who will be sitting across from you? That story is here.
Wherever you live
Shall we talk first?
Tell me briefly what you have in mind and where you are, and I will see if it fits. No obligations, no hurry, and everything you write stays between us.
