Germany's sunniest city
Gigolo in Freiburg im Breisgau
A medieval center with little waterways running through the streets, and the Black Forest starting behind the last houses.
Sun, water and forest
Freiburg is the sunniest city in Germany, and you notice it in the way people live outdoors there. Through the streets of the old center run the Bächle, narrow little water channels where children float toy boats and where you, as a visitor, are guaranteed to step in at least once.
The city sits right against the Black Forest. Within fifteen minutes you’re up on the Schlossberg with a view over the Rhine plain as far as the Vosges.
From Amsterdam it’s a good six hours’ drive. So this becomes a stay, not an evening.
What we can do together
The Münster with the market around it, where the farmers stand in the morning. The Schlossberg, on foot or by the little cable car. The Dreisam riverside for a walk along the water. And the Kaiserstuhl, an old volcano full of vineyards, half an hour away.
For a weekend: the Black Forest with its waterfalls and lakes, Alsace forty-five minutes away, and Switzerland an hour off. Few places in Germany offer this much within that range.
Language
German, English or Dutch. In this student city English works everywhere.
Who I come here for
For women who are married and have long waited for a hand that rests somewhere with attention. For women who, after a divorce, have to work out again how this goes, and who would rather do that far from home.
Widows, in whom the body is readier than the mind. And in Freiburg, strikingly often, students and PhD candidates. A city with thirty thousand students simply produces a lot of women who have everything under control except this.
Two of you is fine as well. Everything that’s possible you can read on my services.
Discretion in the villages
The villages in the Black Forest are small and tight-knit. There it’s noticed who comes and goes. I park wherever you want, even if that’s at the edge of the village and I walk the last bit. No flowers, no conspicuous arrival, and a story ready should anyone ask who I am.
For many women a hotel or holiday home a village over is more comfortable than home for that reason.
Practical
A good six hours’ drive from Amsterdam, and you see that back in the travel costs. You hear the amount before there’s a date and it doesn’t move after that.
Surcharges don’t exist with me, not for the night, the weekend or a public holiday. Booking for two costs the same as alone. For a stay of several days I ask for a deposit, because by then I’ve reserved accommodation myself.
What it isn’t
There’s no organization behind me. No catalogue of men, no go-between relaying your preferences, no file your name stays in. The person at the other end of your first message is the same one who’ll be standing at the door.
And it’s not something you have to prove yourself in. There’s no standard your body or your age has to meet, and what you’d like you don’t have to defend here.
An evening or a stay
At this distance an evening simply isn’t an option. Six hours there and six back for a couple of hours together makes no sense, for either of us.
So it becomes a night or, more often, two days. And honestly, in Freiburg that’s the better form. The Kaiserstuhl, the Black Forest and Alsace all lie within an hour, so there’s plenty to fill a second day with if you feel like it.
The first hours are an adjustment for almost everyone. With another day and a half behind them, they don’t count for much.
About money
What we do, how long it lasts and what it comes to all together is set before we plan anything, the miles here included. No line gets added afterward that you didn’t count on.
For a longer stay I ask for a deposit. That has a dull reason. By then I’ve already booked a hotel or a cabin in the Black Forest myself.
This is how it starts
Write to me with where you are and which week or which weekend you’re thinking of. For a two-day stay I’m happy to think along about the place.
Wherever you live
Shall we talk first?
Tell me briefly what you have in mind and where you are, and I will see if it fits. No obligations, no hurry, and everything you write stays between us.
