Outcall
The provider comes to you, to your home or hotel, instead of the other way around.
What is outcall?
Outcall is an appointment in the escort and sex work world where the provider travels to the client, for example to their home or a hotel. It is the opposite of incall, where the client comes to the provider instead. The word comes from English, from out and call.
| In Dutch | used untranslated, as outcall |
| Category | a way of working within sex work and escort |
| The core | the provider travels to the client, at home or in a hotel |
| Opposite | incall, where the client comes to the provider |
| Origin | English, first recorded 1960–1965, from out plus call |
| Related to | an overnight, an outcall that lasts the whole night |
How outcall works
With outcall the logistics are reversed compared with incall. The provider moves to an address the client chooses, usually their own home or a hotel room. According to Dictionary.com an outcall is “a visit to a client by a professional, especially by a masseuse, sex worker, etc.”, and the term has been around since the 1960s. For the client it means the familiarity of their own surroundings; for the provider a journey and the arrangements about address and time that come with it.
Why people choose outcall
The appeal of outcall is comfort and privacy: you receive someone in your own space, without having to go anywhere yourself and without the threshold of an unknown address. For many people their own surroundings feel safer and more relaxed. The flip side is that the provider travels to an unknown place, so good arrangements beforehand and discretion matter on both sides. As a gigolo I work this way: I come to you, to a place where you feel at ease.
Where this fits on this site
I almost always work on an outcall basis: I travel to you, to your home or a hotel, so you can relax in your own surroundings. How such an appointment goes exactly, what we agree beforehand and how discretion is handled, is on my services. Feel free to message me with your questions before you commit to anything.
