How a service top works
With a service top the division of roles is not about power but about service. According to the encyclopedic description, a service top is someone who applies sensation or control to a bottom, but does so on that bottom’s explicit instructions. The dictionary definition adds to it: a top who acts with the partner’s pleasure in mind, not their own. The bottom keeps the direction that way, even though the top does the physical work.
